Two Tone Letter Banner Tutorial

£19.99

Introducing our two tone DIY Macramé Letter tutorials! This guide includes patterns for every letter in the alphabet.

Experience the therapeutic joy of crafting as you meticulously weave each knot. This tutorial offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in a hands-on project that yields beautiful results. You choose whether to use braided or single twist cords in any colours you have that reflect your personality and décor.

Each letter banner can be created in approximately 4 hours, so it makes for a wonderful weekend project or a truly personalised gift to make for someone special.

This guide contains my guide for adding and knotting with three coloured cords - the colours you use are completely up to you!

Project Dimensions:
- Size: 18cm width, 27cm length (including 10cm tassel)
- Dowel needed: 18cm or larger

For this project, you will need:

3mm or 3.5mm single twist (or braided) macrame yarn in three colours and a 18cm+ dowel. S hooks or masking tape to hang your project as you are making it, a needle and scissors (or rotary cutter). Optional extras: a tape measure and a comb (or pet/wire brush).

- Time to make: Approximately 4 hours.
- Units of measurement: Metric (cm)
- Difficulty: Intermediate.
- Available in English only

This is an intermediate project due to the nature of working with multiple cords and reading patterns. If you are a complete beginner, I recommend you try my one colour letter banners first: Complete Alphabet Macrame Banner Tutorial — Green Cotton

If you are a beginner to vertical double half hitch knots, I recommend using braided cords as they are easier to work with. But if you follow my work, you know my love is with single twist cords, due to the softness and ability to create gorgeous soft fringing (it just takes a little more practice!)

This is an instant download only - no physical item or materials will be shipped.

The guide can be read on any device (laptop, phone, tablet etc) and can also be printed for annotation, if required. The PDF guide is 128 pages long so please consider the environment before printing the whole document - if needed, simply print the pattern of the letter you are working on. This guide contains 63 large images so you can follow along the method at every step.

Please be aware that this guide is not suitable for those who are colour blind as the patterns are colour coded.
